GET OUTSIDE & SEE COOL STUFF IS AN ONGOING TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES TAKEN ON VARIOUS ADVENTURES WHILE I WANDER AROUND OUTSIDE WITH MY CAMERA.
Where I grew up in Eastern Iowa, sadly, we did not have a zoo. Sure, the cows were friendly and the chickens have great personality, however, our version of visiting the animal kingdom was much more ‘Old MacDonald’ than ‘National Geographic’. There were no giraffes to feed and no lions to admire. No monkeys swinging from tree branches. the only exotic and rare animal you can only see once a year was more ‘Butter Cow’ than ‘Jungle Book’.
